We'll take it easy, tigers in the cage
Pacing on our pads, and waiting
For the time to come in repartee
Our lazy bones ache for our dowry
So I hope you find your will to follow through
What we invented, I am now ending
Hold on to who you love
We are dry and blown like dust since we were young
What we invented, I am now ending
The closest thing we had to royalty
A chance to break our parents' pattern
You chose to keep your teenage tragedy
In lieu of their romantic palette
Play tender like a new born baby would
Play tender 'til the night is over.
I’m leaving you to nurture cherished wounds
And care for it just like your lover, yeah
You can't hold on to the thrill
So I hope you find your will to follow through
What we invented, I am now ending
Hold on to who you love
We are dry and blown like dust since we were young
What we invented, I am now ending
You can't hold on to the thrill
So I hope you find your will to follow through
What we invented, I am now ending
Hold on to who you love
We are dry and blown like dust since we were young
The morning's over, the day is in full swing
I know you're busy
But please won't you come visit me?
You are an aimless ghost
You haunt your bag of bones
The wolf messed with your vision
He is sitting in your kitchen
While you sleep tonight
He will eat you young
And you will act surprised
You can't hold on to the thrill
So I hope you find your will to follow through
What we invented, I am now ending
Hold on to who you love
We are dry and blown like dust since we were young
What we invented, I am now ending
You can't hold on to the thrill
So I hope you find your will to follow through
What we invented, I am now ending
Hold on to who you love
We are dry and blown like dust since we were young
The morning's over, the day is in full swing
This month is going to suck.
What are your favorite ways to reduce, reuse & recycle?
1. I got this from grandma, but it’s useful. I save my old bins of cool whip and use them to store leftover food, or take lunch to work in. The labeling always ends up coming off, and they end up as white tubs, so no one has to know they’re cool whip. 2. Instead of getting my bills sent to me, I use online billing. It’s convenient, I’d use the internet to pay for it anyway, and I don’t waste paper I don’t have to. 3. I turn off the water in my shower when I don’t need it. For example, when I’m lathering my hair, or shaving my legs, I turn the water off while I do so. TMI, maybe? 4. I have started a recycle pile at work. There’s a giant pile of magazines and old reports that I’m going to drive to the recyling center this week. 5. IKEA has a cardboard recycling program, so I saved all my boxes from moving and took them there. I also bought plastic, reuseable storage bins and put my extra stuff in those so I won’t use cardboard boxes the next time I move. I save old stuff, like old toothbrushes, to clean with, I donate almost all my old clothes, and at work, I buy them recycled paper. I don’t actually do that much, but I’m trying to do more because I hate feeling like I’m creating unnecessary waste.
You know, but there's not. The best I can do is ask for you to understand.
